LawBank Co-Hosts “Leadership Literacies for Lawyers of the Future” Program with CAMP
As part of its commitment to the mentorship of solo and small law firms, LawBank was pleased to co-host the Colorado Attorney Mentorship Program’s lecture on “Leadership Literacies for Lawyers of the Future.” This lunchtime program was held on June 18, 2020, and was live-streamed to the legal community. The program focused on the skills that lawyers need to address the trends in the legal industry. Panelists included local leaders Phyllis Wan, Mark Beese, and Alison Haugen. They provided their insight into how diversity and inclusiveness will shape the legal profession in the future and how forward-thinking attorneys can respond to the same by incorporating more inclusiveness principles into their practice. They also shared information regarding the change in the way that legal teams will look and function in the future to be more of multi-disciplinary groups that each offer specific services. The panelists covered how design thinking will refocus how attorneys service their clients in the future.
The Colorado Attorney Mentoring Program (CAMP) hosts regular programming to support the health of Colorado lawyers. These lecture programs focused on coaching and professional development provide important career information and guidance to local attorneys.

Partnering with CAMP and the Colorado Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Section in October 2020, LawBank will debut the first solo and small firm mentorship circle in Colorado.
