As part of their commitment to attorney professional development, LawBank is proud to announce they are a corporate sponsor of the State Bar of Nevada’s Handle | BAR incubator program. LawBank remains dedicated to supporting organizations in the Las Vegas and Denver communities where their attorneys live and work. In addition to supporting local organizations that foster attorney growth, LawBank offers its members in-house professional development opportunities, such as CLE programs, networking events, and business advisory.
Handle | BAR is the State Bar of Nevada’s practice management incubator program. The program offers mentoring and resources to attorneys new to law practice or those looking to enter private practice for the first time. Handle | BAR is designed for those with an entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm about serving low- and modest-income clients. Members participate in a year-long program and are required to provide at least 10 hours per month of pro bono service through a Nevada legal aid organization. Participants must also commit to providing services to modest means clients through the State Bar of Nevada’s Lawyer Referral Services program. The Handle | BAR program supports its participants by providing them with furnished office and meeting room space within two locations, weekly mentoring and education on how to start and build a law practice, and access to judges, experienced attorneys, and the state bar’s business partners.
