Joseph Zonies is the founding member of Zonies Law LLC.  Joe is very active in a number of mass tort litigations, including litigation related to trans-vaginal mesh, IVC filters, and birth injuries associated with antidepressants. Joe is on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee in the In re Ethicon Trans-Vaginal Mesh Multi-District Litigation and on the Plaintiffs’ Executive Committee in the In re Zoloft Products Liability Multi-District Litigation.  In addition, Joe has been in the leadership of and/or has represented thousands of clients in other pharmaceutical mass tort litigations, including Avandia, Actos, Paxil, Topamax, DePuy and Zimmer Hip, Baycol, Zyprexa, Vioxx and Ephedra. He has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients.

Joe earned his B.A. in Communications and Theater from the University of Notre Dame. After spending several years acting and producing and directing music videos, he attended the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. There, he graduated first in his law school class. After law school, Joe clerked for the Honorable John C. Porfilio in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
