Angie Schmitz has been practicing law since 2003, with a focus on probate, real estate, and civil litigation. She launched Homestead Law to provide skilled, strategic, and efficient legal services to her individual and small business clients. Angie began her legal career clerking for a judge on the Oregon Court of Appeals, an invaluable experience for understanding what arguments are effective in court, and what judges are likely to do in a particular case. She has handled hundreds of cases involving family disputes about wills, trusts, and real estate, and helped individuals and small business with evictions, partitions, and title disputes. She is active in the Colorado legal community and in civic matters, serving as vice-chair of the Colorado Bar Association’s Real Estate Section, and as a member of the City of Englewood Board of Adjustment and Appeals.
