Of particular note to us were the sections advising professionals to live life a little before entering law school and to hone their “soft skills.” Both of those endeavors help new lawyers discover their true talents, interests and goals. Remember that life as a lawyer should include life: It’s not just about achieving another person’s vision of success, but defining for yourself what that success looks like.
