Advice About Going Into Solo Law Practice: Resources for the Independent Practitioner
From the LawBank Video Channel: Attorney Megan Courtney shares her thoughts on going solo, including LawBank, Watson and more:
“If another attorney came to me wanting to do this [start an independent law practice], I would say go for it. It takes a lot of guts to do it, but if you’re going to do it, if you really have a passion for doing your own thing, then LawBank is the absolute best place to do it. There is every resource you could possibly need, whether it’s faxes, printers or just somebody else to bounce something off of. Otherwise, there’s Watson right across the hall, and they can help you with billing, research, anything you need help with. If you’re going to succeed being a solo, this is the place to do it.”
